BraveHearts Live!
What’s this group all about?
BraveHearts Live! is a monthly meeting, held on Teams.
Each meeting has a focus, or a topic. The meeting is often led by an expert, for example looking at entering the world of work, coping with bullying and victimisation, or socialising and meeting people.
These meetings, which are hosted by Dr Helen Spoudeas the founder of Success.
We are also working on our Survivor Manual.
This important document is written by survivors for survivors.
Each section of the manual deals with an area that one of our survivor community has first-hand experience of.
The section is written as a letter offering advice to a younger self.
It is intended to be a helpful document to people starting out on their post cure survival journey, and as it is written by people with first hand lived experience it is honest, humorous and helpful.
Is it different to the Friendship Group?
Yes, the Friendship Group is an opportunity to meet other people with the same lived experience, to relax, and chat, to share stories and to make friends.
BraveHearts Live! allows the opportunity to learn more about areas of mutual interest, and to be part of the team authoring our Survivor Manual.
When?
