Peer Mentoring for Brain Tumour Survivors
No one understands life after a childhood brain tumour quite like someone who’s been through it. That’s what makes the Success Peer Mentoring Programme so powerful.
We connect young survivors with specially trained peer mentors — people who know first-hand what it’s like to live with the long-term effects of a brain tumour.
They’ve experienced learning, neurological, physical, emotional, and hormonal challenges themselves, and they’re here to help others navigate their own journeys.
At its heart, this programme is built on one simple belief:
You don’t have to face this alone.

What is
Success Peer Mentoring?
Peer support is when people with shared experiences come together to learn from and support one another. Unlike professional help, peer mentoring offers something different: empathy, understanding, and connection from someone who’s walked a similar path.
Our mentors are survivors of rare conditions like medulloblastomas and optic gliomas. They’ve learned to cope with challenges like fatigue, hormone imbalance, visual impairment, and social isolation — and they’re here to support others doing the same.
Young people in our community often say it’s easier to talk to someone who gets it. That’s where peer mentoring shines.
Whether you want to:
