Success Life After Cure, the UK-based charity dedicated to supporting survivors of childhood and young adult cancer, is proud to announce the formal submission of its evidence to the government’s upcoming National Cancer Plan. This marks a significant step in ensuring that the voices, needs, and long-term health of cancer survivors are represented at the highest level of national health policy.
The submission draws on years of insight, data, and first-hand accounts from survivors and their families, shedding light on the long-term physical, psychological, and social challenges that many face after successful cancer treatment. It highlights key gaps in post-treatment care, including late effects monitoring, mental health support, employment challenges, and the need for survivor-specific healthcare pathways.
