Take Part in a Research Study

We are committed to supporting research that improves our collective understanding of the impact of childhood brain tumours on survivors, and on the interventions that may help them live fuller, happier lives, after cure.

One such study is currently recruiting for participants to explore the impact of a behavioural intervention, which is already known to treat adolescents with depression, on those with an acquired brain injury.

The study is being led by the University of Exeter who are interested in hearing from young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who have had experience of an acquired brain injury and who would be interested in being part of this study. If eligible, the young person will receive 8 sessions of Brief Behavioural Intervention over a 6 weeks period, followed up by an additional session 4 weeks post completion. All contact will be via online video, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Each eligible participant who completes the full intervention will receive a £50 Amazon voucher as a thank you.
