Success Life After Cure is to launch an innovative digital therapy programme for young brain tumour survivors.
The pioneering Digital Therapy Programme, is a free, fully online neurorehabilitation service for children and young people ANYWHERE in the UK who are recovering from brain tumours.
While over 80% of children diagnosed with brain tumours in the UK survive beyond five years, many face lasting cognitive, physical, and motor challenges following treatment.
Success Life After Cure’s Digital Therapy Programme is designed specifically to meet these unmet needs by offering structured, accessible recovery support that complements the medical ‘cure’.
Delivered remotely, the Digital Therapy Programme removes geographical and mobility barriers to specialist care. Thanks to core funding, it is completely free for families, making therapy accessible to those who might struggle with traditional in‑person services. By blending interactive therapy and AI‑guided self‑practice, the programme aims to accelerate recovery and support independence and quality of life.
Pilot participants expressed overwhelmingly positive experiences. One family reported that their child “progressed through goals quicker than traditional therapy would have allowed – and had so much fun too.”
Dr Helen Spoudeas, Founder of Success Life After Cure said “Our Digital Therapy Programme brings crucial rehabilitative support into the homes of young survivors – support that is often unavailable or difficult to access after cure. We’re proud to offer this free, tailored service thanks to the generosity of our funders and fundraisers.”
